I've spent almost 14 years in accountancy, in practices across East and North Yorkshire preparing accounts and assisting companies with audits, also in industry as head of a finance team. That second part matters: I know what it's like to need the numbers by Monday to make a decision. I set up JL Advisory to give owner-managed businesses that same level of support, without the cost of a full-time finance director.
